Finally we can go again!
After a few years of less personal webinars, we can finally meet each other physically again during a European CMT event at the end of September in Rotterdam!
LARSSON Sweden® is a participant of the first hour. It all started with the first Starch World Asia in 2012 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Since then, CMT and LARSSON™ have been extremely loyal to each other and have merged into the Starch World events on all continents.
A lot has changed over the years. Where starch used to be the gold, (vegetable) proteins and fibers now have a much more dominant position. Sustainability is now central, waste is not done, everything that is in a raw material is (re)used. Due to the higher protein content, it is now also increasingly about other raw materials such as soy, peas, beans, etc. LARSSON™ is also increasingly focusing on this. With both process solutions and our own machine portfolio that fits in with this. With still a clear focus on our core. Where the process solutions shifts further away from our expertise, we work together with a selection of highly reliable partners. One of them in particular is Wafilin Systems BV (www.wafilinsystems.nl) from Leeuwarden in the Netherlands. As “Masters in Membrains”, they develop unique membrane filtration systems to meet the challenges of customers in the food and dairy industry. Their price winning filtration process for the Starch industry enables the industry to recover valuable components, such as proteins, while it significantly reduces the energy and water footprint. Together, our solutions are intended to reduce the costs of complex processes and increase profitability and growth. Our joint success is determined by our passion, knowledge and experience.
As an organizer, CMT has also kept up with these current developments and organizes both the “5th EU Starch Value Chain” and “Sustainable Plant Based Protein & Fermentation Solutions EU”. All in all, three days from September 27 to September 29, with a shared program on September 28 (for details, please refer to https://www.cmtevents.com/main.aspx ).
