The LARSSON new generation degritting/desanding cyclones,
equipped with ceramic cones, provide highly efficient removal
of foreign debris and sand, significantly improving starch quality.
Degritting cyclones separate debris and coarse sand, while the
desanding cyclones discharge fine sand.
The high efficiency of the sandcyclone process gives an increase in
longevity and a stable capacity to the equipment further down the
process line.
This new generation design features a stronger and more robust
frame, cyclones and collection tank, ensuring enhanced durability and
reliability. A key improvement is the equalized pressure drop across
all cyclones, delivering consistent performance and stable operation
throughout the system.
The unit comprises cyclones with interconnecting piping, a
collection tank with two pneumatic valves, a manual pressure
regulator (degritting) or flow regulator (desanding), and an automatic
deairing valve.
Media touched parts are manufactured of stainless steel AISI 316,
frame is made of stainless steel AISI 304.
It complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU.
