The new profile makes it possible to place a greater number of saw blades in the same diameter compared to the conventional profile.

By enlarging the diameter we can maintain the high velocity for the saw blades at a lower motor speed. Several benefits are achieved, reduced centrifugal force gives less in the material, a greater number of saw blades in the rotor increases the time between changing the blades and increases starch extraction.

Direct drive means less transmission losses and reduced power consumption. The rotor is reversible which increases saw blade service life. The new LarssonSweden design is also the most service friendly rasper on the market. Available in widths up to 600 mm and motor sizes up to 315 kW.
